Blackman named as new Rams coach

FF News

Recommended Posts

Ramsgate have announced the appointment of Lloyd Blackman as First Team Coach.

Lloyd’s playing career started in 2003 when he was playing for Brentford against West Bromwich Albion.A year later he suffered an injury that finished his first class career as a striker and he moved in to non league circles and has played for clubs including Scarborough, Chelmsford, Cambridge City, Maidstone, Margate, Whitstable Town and Hythe Town.

He has signed for Ramsgate as a Coach and replacement for Ian Cox who last month was offered the opportunity to manage Whitstable Town. Blackman will assist Jim and Danny Ward and provide invaluable experience in the clubs quest for promotion.
