FF News Posted December 31, 2015 Share Posted December 31, 2015 Torquay United have given supporters an update on their expected move into Community Ownership A statement on the club website read: "Torquay United Football Club and Torquay United Supporters Trust (TUST) have recently been in discussions regarding the feasibility of community ownership of the football club. Both parties have now agreed to take this on to the next stage for a full presentation. We would like to thank TUST for their time on this matter. Further statements will be issued throughout the process as we move forward. We wish to make it clear that neither side is committed to a deal at this stage; we’ve just agreed to look further into the matter and explore all possibilities. It’s important for all fans to support and join TUST The Directors of Torquay United FC would like to thank you most sincerely for the support that you have given to the team so far this season, particularly the past couple of matches. Your backing has been outstanding and we can assure you that we are all working extremely hard to retain our National League status and take this proud club forward. By working together we can make this happen. Happy New Year to all Torquay United FC supporters.
