Managerial duo return to Fakenham

A managerial change is afoot at Fakenham Town's Clipbush Park, and will bring about the return of two very familiar faces.

Wayne Anderson (who left for neighboring Dereham Town towards the end of last season), and Neil Jarvis (who began the season as 1st team manager, before leaving for Wroxham in September) have agreed to return to Clipbush Park and will reprise their roles as Manager & Assistant of the 1st team.

Initially the task in hand will be to preserve the team’s Thurlow Nunn Premier League status, and then build for the future.

Anderson returns for his second spell in charge of The Ghosts, having initially taken charge in 2010 with the team bottom of the First Division.

Jarvis, who has played for The Ghosts in the past, aswell as managing them still runs the clubs Under 18’s.

Under their guidance, The Ghosts sealed promotion to the Premier Division at the end of the 2013-2014 season.

The pair will take charge of the team after Saturday’s home game against Hadleigh United, which will see Robbie Harris running things for the final time after 20 games in control. Where Harris’s future lies after Saturday remains to be seen, but the returning duo of Anderson & Jarvis will be hoping it’ll still be at Clipbush Park.
