The Southern Football League have announced that Bostik have agreed to extend their sponsorship up to the end of the 2016/17 season.

A statement on the league website confirmed the news

It read "Leading adhesives and sealants provider Bostik has extended its sponsorship of The Southern Football League until at least the end of the 2016/17 season, furthering its support of grassroots football through its well-known brand, EVO-STIK.

The deal means the League will continue to be known as The EVO-STIK League Southern for the remainder of the 2015/2016 season and into 2017, with an option for a fourth successive term.

Commenting on the deal, Dale Poulton, Commercial Director of Bostik UK said: “We have a long-standing relationship with this tier of football, which includes our sponsorship of The Northern Premier League.

The brand synergy is perfect and this agreement provides extensive exposure through the media, marketing campaigns and advertising in all stadia, programmes and on club websites. It’s the ideal platform to generate awareness for EVO-STIK as the premium brand of adhesives and sealants.”

Founded in 1894, The Southern Football League encompasses 68 clubs divided into three divisions covering the Midlands, South Central and South West of England and South Wales.

Ken Turner, Chairman of The EVO-STIK League Southern concludes “Sponsorship at this level makes a real difference to clubs who rely on the financial support that it generates.

We’re delighted to extend our association with a household name like EVO-STIK for a third successive term and look forward to working with them for at least another season.”
