Tring were a good side that season, finished second behind an excellent new Bradwell team. We finished just above Totternhoe I think. I was bouncing between reserves and firsts 16 at the time. We went down the following year. Should’ve then come straight back up, only a few points in it and we dropped some stupid ones.

Pretty sure the lad in goals dad was a keeper who was very good back in the day too.

Winslow Boy - Yes, that's spot on, New Bradwell St Peter and Tring Athletic had pretty much identical records and there were just two goals in it, only New Bradwell St Peter were promoted though due to Tring Athletic not having floodlights until they 'subsumed' Tring Town some seasons later:
