Winslow Boy - Is Letchworth Garden City Eagles v Winslow United off then, there's no mention of it on Full Time or the Stevington v Shefford Town & Campton Bedfordshire FA Senior Trophy Second Round tie, Full Time has really gone to pot lately hasn't it. Eynesbury United v Risborough Rangers Development and Pitstone & Ivinghoe v Totternhoe are also off in Division Two.

Premier Division
Aylesbury Vale Dynamos v Baldock Town

The match programme for this afternoon. I gather that new signing from Risborough Rangers, and journeyman, Ben Hammond will be making his debut for Aylesbury Vale Dynamos, Ben's list of Club's is as long as your arm including Hoddesdon Town, Edgware Town, Berkhamsted, Cockfosters, London Colney, Aylesbury United, Hillingdon Borough, Leverstock Green, Harefield United, Diss Town, Leighton Town, Maidenhead United and Berkhamsted Town, he also previously played for Aylesbury FC at Step 4 level so in theory he is 'coming home':

Premier Division
Flackwell Heath 5 Dunstable Town 0

A groundhopper from another Forum was present at this one:

South Midlands Premier
Flackwell Heath 5 Dunstable Town 0
Adm £6 Att 132 Paper Progs - no
Spitfire Dave Dog Index - Yes, at least 2 dogs were present.
Paid and entered the ground. Stopped by the barrier the other side of the turnstile, getting ready to take some pics, when whoosh.... my right ear takes a direct hit from an away training ball travelling at a fair rate of knots..... OUCH!!
Guys, I am nowhere near the goal?.... Thanks to all on both sides who wanted to make sure I was OK. An apt 'Homes under the Hammer' tune can be found on Musical Snapshot.
The game: 1st half not brilliant. The Dunstable keeper made a double save to deny Flackwell's Weekes, whilst Dunstable themselves hit the crossbar. We had the obligatory Chilterns Red Kites flypast, which was more entertaining than the 1st half fare.
Flackwell hit the bar early in the 2nd half, before finally opening the scoring and adding 4 more goals to easily secure the points. 2nd half highlights:
Flackwell 1-0. A cross in from left, headed back and Driffil's shot from 10 yds found the back of the net.
Flackwell 2-0. A run down the right, pass to Driffil who steadied and fired home from 10yds.
Flackwell's Howell's shot hits the crossbar, before Flackwell then scored their third. A cross from the left was pulled back to Driffil who stabbed the ball home from 6 yds to complete his hat-trick.
Flackwell 4-0. Eaton's turn and shot from 8 yds after the Dunstable defence failed to clear. A well taken goal.
Flackwell's final goal was a penalty from Howell after he had been brought down in the box.
Only 2 Dunstable shots on target... the one that hit the crossbar and the one that hit my ear.
I liked Wilks Park. Cover at both ends with a seated stand straddling the halfway line. The angle and direction of the pitches slope reminded me of the old Cuthbury. Didn't venture into the clubhouse to sample the Rebellion (sorry Royals) as I was in recovery mode at that point.
One heavy shower in the 1st half, otherwise dry.
40 mins back to pick up the Brick or Treaters, roads quieter, before heading for home. All had had a good time.

This is rather worrying isn't it, Berkhamsted Comrades couldn't raise a team again:

Old Bradwell United And so it continues. Game off. Berko can’t get team out. Notified at midday

Broadfields United v Hadley 1-2

An improved performance from Hadley, although they still made hard work of it against an injury-hit Broadfields United.  Hadley started well, adjusting quickly to the 3g surface at Rayners Lane, and really ought to have been three up in the first twenty minutes or so.  They then, however, dozed off at a corner and allowed Broadfields' Callum Rogers a free header on goal which he duly put away.  More Hadley pressure followed, but still 1-0 at the interval, with even the friendly BU officials admitting that Hadley should be 5-1 up.

More of the same in the second half, and it really began to look as though BU were going to hold on.  However, a speculative cross-cum-shot from Jordan Edwards on 75, and a superb lob from Solomon Ofori on 81, meant that the points were Hadley's.  BU can probably consider themselves unlucky not to hang on to at least a point, but undoubtedly the better side won.

A much better spirit shown by the Hadley squad as well, even when they were behind for so long -- perhaps they have been reading this forum (!)....

Let's see if they can take this spirit into the County Cup game at London Colney on Tuesday.

Not a good weekend for the Cotlandswick Club's supremo Jack Metcalfe, at least Jack can take some cheer this morning with the news that Tottenham Hotspur boss Nuno Espírito Santo has been unceremoniously sacked, he is Tottenham's biggest fan and has a season ticket at White Hart Lane:

Tottenham sack Nuno Espirito Santo after Man Utd drubbing as ex-Wolves manager lasts just four months and ten Prem games (thesun.co.uk)

The Club can today announce that Nuno Espírito Santo and his coaching staff Ian Cathro, Rui Barbosa and Antonio Dias have been relieved of their duties.

Fabio Paratici, Managing Director, Football, said: "I know how much Nuno and his coaching staff wanted to succeed and I regret that we have had to take this decision.

“Nuno is a true gentleman and will always be welcome here. We should like to thank him and his coaching staff and wish them well for the future.”

A further coaching update will follow in due course.
