What do we, or more importantly Pitstone & Ivinghoe, know about Thames Valley Premier League Premier Division Slough Heating Laurencians if anything:

Yesterday's Third Round results involving the remaining SSML Club's, Aston Clinton are disappointingly the 'last man' standing with the Quarter Final draw due to take place shortly. Old Bradwell United's 2023/24 woes continue with defeat at Aylesbury & District League Premier Division Stoke Mandeville FC which would have been unheard of in previous campaigns:

Saturday 11 November

Berks & Bucks FA Charles Twelftree Trophy Third Round

Aston Clinton 7 FC Beaconsfield 1

Maidenhead Town 1 Pitstone & Ivinghoe 0

Stoke Mandeville FC 3 Old Bradwell United 2

Disappointment for Aston Clinton this afternoon, prematurely ending SSML interest in this season's competition, a groundhopper from another Forum was at the Stoke Mandeville v Maidenhead Town tie:

Saturday 9 December

Berks & Bucks FA Charles Twelftree Trophy Quarter Finals

Padbury Village 2 Burghfield 3

Windsor & Eton P Shrivenham (Saturday 16 December)

Stoke Mandeville 2 Maidenhead Town 5

Finchampstead 3 Aston Clinton 2

Berks & Bucks FA Charles Twelftree Trophy - QF
Stoke Mandeville v Maidenhead Town 2-5 (ht 2-2)
Venue: The Mandeville School, 3g pitch, Ellen Road, Aylesbury (ko 1330hrs)
Entry: Free, no programme, Attendance: h/c 55
Based on possession and chances created this should have ended 5-2 to the home side, but it was the visitors who were more efficient in front of goal. Stoke Mandeville of the Aylesbury & District League Premier Division had beaten a couple of Spartan South Midlands League Division Two teams to reach this stage but came unstuck today against a team from the Thames Valley League Premier Division. The visitors had the first chance of the game but Stoke Mandeville scored after only two minutes and dominated most of the half. They created plenty of chances and doubled their lead after 25 minutes. Maidenhead had created a few chances of their own and were slowly working their way back into the game. They scored on 33 minutes and again on 44 minutes as the game became more even.
Maidenhead continued their momentum into the second half and took the lead almost immediately. But the pendulum swung again and the hosts laid siege to the visitors' penalty area. There were plenty of shots fired off but few were on target. And, as with the first half, Maidenhead soaked it all up and provided a vicious sting in the tail at the end as they scored in the 87th and 96th minutes. Tough on Stoke Mandeville but it's goals wot count.
From the school car park you go through a small gate and walk passed the tarmaced cage (toilets to the left of this). Beyond is the floodlit 3g cage which, in my opinion is one of the more pleasant such facilities. The plastic pitch is exactly the same colour as the surrounding grass and the fencing is not particularly intrusive except where it has been covered in green mesh (at one end and half of one side). There is no purpose-built spectator area but enough room on the near side for a rope to be supported by cones which separated us from the linesman who was able to traverse the touchline unimpeded.
