5 Leagues at Leve 4....

What does everyone think of the 5 leagues that were printed in the Non-League Paper to help with the geographical boundaries meaning shorter journies therefore less travelling expences:-

 

Northern Premier Division 1

 

Midlands and West

 

South and West of London

 

East and North of London

 

South Eastern League

 

My opinion it will help enourmousley with travelling and have a structured geographical areas for the progression of lower league teams.

 

The only drawback I can see is that it will mean even more clubs at this step than at present...

No point in debating it as far as I understand, as the proposal that is now all legal and tickety boo is for 4 leagues at this level, and this will go through. That is, Conference, Conference 2 N and S, Southern, Northern Premier, Isthmian and a new Midland League. There's a logic in this as the number of leagues doubles at each level down (or halves at each level up as you go up if you prefer).

 

There is a totally bizarre play off system this year for deciding who goes into Conference 2.

 

What will happen below this - ie at County league level - has yet to be finalised. Also I think I'm right in saying that the ryman has got to re-orgainse div 2 completely, possibly even losing it.
