Two Forums

Is it really necessary to have 2 forums? I know one is supposed to be Trust related but looking at it there have only been 4 people posting on it. We had this trouble before when we changed to this Forum, half the people posted on one and half on the old one.

Sureley if everyone looked on one forum (This one) then they wouldn't have to look on the other one? Saves a lot of time and effort, especially if a message needs to be posted on both boards.

A message is only going on both boards whilst the Trust board is being integrated into the bigger scheme of things on here and people will look at both.

When registered and logged in, the links from both the Official Site and the Trust Site will take you to the main Slough Town forums listing page which shows both forum titles. Registered users will see if there have been new postings on either forum from the same screen as the Football Forum and the Trust Forum are grouped together. (Unregistered users will see the same grouping, but all posts will show as new)

Once the Trust forum has been established more, then messages will only be posted on that. It will also enable those who will be able to provide responses better visibility and quicker response time to queries and requests that are left on there.

I see you didn't have too much trouble leaving two messages on there earlier though? If you were that against it, why not put all the postings in here?

I posted them on there (Should only have been one) and noticed after that there were only 4 threads.

Im not against it, not as much against it as you are against Mr Deaner, but it just seems logical to have one forum for everything rather than two?

Perhaps as much against it as you are against Miller, Foster & Wilkinson then? <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

As I said above, it will allow for quicker resposne as those who know most about the trust (Ian) are able to react quicker to posts when they are separated onto that forum so in essence, will be better for all.
