No pressure but....

Recommended Posts

If Town are to go up we need a win against Sawbo and hope Hullbridge or London APSA do us a favour by beating the Ilford! It would be a sad day if they prospered! A sideways move to Ryman II may be possible but that depends on the goodwill of the leagues officers or the FA. Let's not go there if we can!

From what i read in the programme today,ETFC have been invited into Ryman 2(if we don't make div 1) to ensure 22 teams play in that league and the FA have sanctioned such a move.

Also, are you saying we definately WILL go into DIV 1 if we come second.?....or that we definatly WILL NOT go into DIV 1 if we come third.?

A week in football is a long time and what is definite today might not be tomorrow. There is rumour and counter rumour. I'll leave it to the politicians to work out but I was told by a reliable source that we need a win against Sawbo.

We had 311 fans there today. If I was Mr Robinson I'd want the larger teams with the larger gates in Division 1 North. Enfield FC with their small gate and small future or us with the large gate, and matching future?

Imagine the gates with us against Wimbledon or other large clubs. We'd have to sit Paul Reed down and administer the smelling salts before he counted the money!
