With the possible exception of the away fixture at Hornchurch back in September, this was probably one of our gutsiest performances of the season. It has to be said that we did ride our luck on a few occasions but all in all, we were well worth the point and it didn't help that for the majority of the game we seemed to be up against not only the team second in the league but also the referee and at least one of his assistants. The workrate was first class again today and everyone played their part with special mention going to George Clark, Chris Zorocich, Lee Clarke and Greg Deacon, who was outstanding.

What a turn round there has been in the last 7 weeks. We are now in the play offs and on today's showing, we are also the team the rest will want to avoid.

Hendon's attendance today was 422, their best of the season.

Best of luck in the playoffs cos St Albans is nice and easy by train and we'd quite fancy coming up to visit again (seeing as we've score 4 two seasons in a row <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />)

Today we came up against a well organised offside trap and good defence, but missed sitters and other chances cost us, and now we have to win at Kettering.
