According to the bbc 606 website we have signed on loan

 

14 September 2004

 

Kevin Hemsley [Crawley Town - Hornchurch] Loan

 

apparantly he is a central defender who used to play for Brighton.

 

Any truth in this one.

HEMSLEY OUT ON LOAN

Defender Kevin Hemsley has joined Conference South Welling United on loan for one month. Welling boss Paul Parker asked Vines if any players were available and Vines thought that Hemsley would benefit from playing several full first- team matches. Hemsley began the season in the starting line-up but has recently found himself on the substitutes' bench.
