If you mean running into his legs whilst Potter was jumping for another speculative and inaccurate city attempt, resulting in Danny landing on his head, but continuing till 1/2 time with double vision and still keeping the saints out in, what turned into, a fantastic 4-0 Canvey win, then yes, Deacon did.

nahhhh, Martin wasn't even close to division 3 standard.

 

he used to play really well for 1 or 2 games, and probably score a great goal, and then spend the rest of the year being poo and making half arsed performances.

Urchin Boy, Gay is that the Keeper who was understudy keeper at Southend United. (A year or so back. Or a different Gay)

I would like to nominate:

Braintree's keeper - Paul Rutherford, (ok we have been stuffed in some games, before some smart alec brings up our results) but it's not just down to him, it's the whole team. He can be only as good as the men in front of him, he has made so many brilliant saves for a keeper so young.

 

In the game away at Canvey when we let in 4 it would of been 10 without hes acrobatic display. Him and our young Braintree team have grown and recovered from the poor start.
