Depends if you like U2! Don't buy an Ipod if you have a Pc, if you have a Mac then it's the one.

if your looking to use it as a walkman type thing and are happy with a few thousand songs then get a mini ipod pretty easy to use on a p.c... if you want to have thousands of super high grade tracks in hundreds of well organised files dont bother.. you'll spend days sorting it all out then you'll lose the fker

If you have a mac then it's a no brainer, go for the iPod.

 

True to say it does work fine with PCs, but while you can't play Windows Media Audio files, they're a bit too restrictive for my liking.
