Positive programme notes

I would like to say that EFC Chairman Steve Whittington's page 3 programme comments yesterday offered a very positive viewpoint of the Enfield's in opposition. It was a refreshing change from the former regime and all the bitterness their programme editor used to PENN every week. It's that kind of healthy respect that we need to foster between the clubs in the future. I went to the game yesterday thinking of EFC pre Lazarou and in a mess and came away thinking that they are slowly getting their house back in order. Little things such as the programme being readable and not the photocopied mess it was after 2001. I may not agree with Enfield being the future of football in the borough but I had to give them high marks for giving it a good go of it. Well done lads.

Sorry but you have got that wrong as I can assure you that Mr Bryant was present in the boardroom , talking to, amongst others the ESL Chairman and I might as well add that the atmosphere was excellent, hospitality first class and Enfield FC obviously were trying to out do the oppositions famed bread pudding by handing out enormous mince pies - bp still leads but no complaints at all so please do not try and stir any !
