Fantastic start. Come on you reds.. Is there any reason why Lee Shearer does not make the 16? Is he back out on loan/ has he been transferred? Or has he just not been selected.

We were crap and so were Crawley.

Individual praise goes to Pullen for his penalty save, although his goal kicks have degenerated to the quality of Wilko's. And to McAllister, who scored and ran his socks off. Drury was good, but nowhere near the quality he showed against Hereford last week. However, Lovell was awful. He can't pass, hold the ball up or tackle without putting himself or his team mates under pressure. Jacko, yes Jacko is nowhere near the player he was before he left for Dagneham. He took the corners and free-kicks and not one reached it's target. Everyone else was just average.

Crawley were no better, they ran rings round our defence, but could hardly keep their shots on target. Overall, boring football with midfield blunders and lots of hoofing forward. A waste of time and money. Accrington have nothing to fear.

well glad for a point

but it was a game of ping pong

drury our best player

McKimm second

i think to be fair crawley made us play this way

but it was the worst passing game for fleet i have seen and our first touch awful

the players gave what they had

no complaints about effort

they need to believe in themselves

they are good and here is hoping the next result sets them on their way

i think youll find the pen hit the post, not a save. But your keeper did go the right way.

Yep hit the post (damn you DM) you lot got lucky you got let off lightly on fouls and your goal was a blatant foul on our centre back, but that's footie for you. See you new years good luck for the rest of the season.

rubbish, well taken goal by mcallister. even if it was going in pullen had it covered as he was right up against the post. amazing athleticism from him.

boring game as a whole, but i am happy with a point. contrary to the above i thought we were stronmger in the second half becaus ein the first we were a bit poor after the first five mins, if they had not equalised when they did we might have held on or pushed for another.

but anyway, heres hoping for better things on nyd

Ditto..it would have been as I saw the game.We were very poor, the defence was all over the place, and was opened up time and again especially down our left flank with Lovell being left for dead every time.At half time I thought there was no way we would get anything out of the game,so was thankfull for a point, perhaps our luck has changed? But what has happened to the along the floor fast flowing football that we used to see, just a distant memory,if we keep playing like we did yesterday,we will be fighting to survive in the Conference.Sad but true.

Have to agree - this was a common theme in the first half, with Moore often having to come across to help out, thus leaving gaps in the middle. Lovell doesn't really seem suited to a defensive role, so let's just hope Skins has recovered from his injury in time for tomorrow's game.

you got let off on fouls

However, in my eyes three of our four yellows were harsh - particularly Moore's, where the opposition player seemed to take a dive.

Have to agree with Red Neck on many points - the standard of football was abysmal, with so many aimless long balls from both sides, and both 'keepers (particularly in the second half) being left in numerous one-on-one situations. As for criticism of Jacko, I agree he doesn't quite seem as good as he was, but injury problems and being in and out of the side cannot have helped, and our set pieces are generally poor whoever takes them, with so many corners being cleared easily at the near post.

Overall, credit to McAllister for a well-taken goal, but while the second half was fairly evenly balanced, in the first, with Crawley blazing two easy chances over, missing out from Jukebox's bizarre header back to Pullen and of course missing the penalty (which I thought was a harsh award), we were lucky to pick up a draw. In the end, given the circumstances of the game and the fact I would have taken a draw before the start of play, I'm satisfied with the result - but, like Red Neck, concerned about our standard of play at present.

Agree with most of the postings on the match, not a great game and I think we rode our luck at times, could have been 4-1 down at half time if Crawley had been more accurate in front of the posts. Just a word on Crawley, very nice ground and really nice to be allowed to change ends at half time. Catering was good as well and friendly stewards, well done to all at CTFC.

Hope many of the Crawley fans can make it up to Stonebridge Road on New Years Day for hopefully a better performance from both teams and another good atmosphere created.

I thought the referee was very poor for both sides.

We got a free kick in the first half and the Crawley player got booked and as far as I could tell there was absolutly no contact.

Thought Drury was our best player, although he did make a couple of mistakes.

Pullen was excellent, although his kicking is letting him down.

Nice ground, shame about the game!
