why not the supporters play there first teams, and charge for it, and bet on who will score, so if say Mark Reed scored for Romford he would bet on himself this way everyone is involved, and not a selected few clubs, making it that every club has helped and feel good cause of it, and all money going to this well worth cause.

good point abbey, hopefully clubs can sort this out with each other,, leave it with you lot to arrange and sort, just something that crossed my mind that could work and help these poor people

What ever way but you need people at clubs to organise it, so if the idea appeals get your programme editor to feature it, feature it in your club newsletter , or an annoucement made, or perhaps a letter sent from the club to club with an invitation <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/yeahthat.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> good luck

I think that it's on Sunday 6th Feb, so pencil it in your diaries.
There's some famous old E's who have agreed to play in the game for such a good cause.

thanks for your update ARK, we may be considering doing a similar project, any teams interested in a 5 aside tournament from the ESL league let us know, if enough interest raised can look into this and costing
