to those of you that turned up today it was much appreciated-you could have given us a song though!! You helped that gate swell to a huge 154

Apologies for the performance but I suppose 6 goals is quite a good return on your entry money.

Did you hear the songs I put on for you 10 minutes prior to kick off? Special Hx announcement followed by A-Team followed by Town Called Mailce

Good to see Mr Ewen too, see ya Wednesday at WSM hopefully Mick.

Thanks again and if you get disorientated on other Saturdays and find yourself down our way you will be welcomed with open arms.

All the best

Jel

ec2, I didnt see the office incident but sounds funny-my office is on the terrace on the right (!) it hasnt got a roof or walls (!) (nor any furniture) but thats where I announce the goals/subs from.

We have got a mobile set of toilets outside though the last person that went in them in 1998 is on the "missing persons" file.

The Adams are very nice people.

All the best

Don't worry Jel it dawned on me straight away and was grateful to find the real toilet.

Tell me how do you make the announcements so quickly from the corner of the ground only at Thurrock for example the pa man is high up giving him a vantage point, at Canvey the fella is in a similar position to you.

Just interested mate

The club have got a wireless mic, the only problem is that you cannot make announcements between the two speakers in the "main stand" as you get a lot of feed. In fact I tried to do this in our game with Middlesbrough U18s and even Jermaine Defoe's face screwed up from the high pitched noise that was made when I switched it on!

Yesterday I stood just before you get to the main stand (on the terrace), only problem is that the top end of the field tests my eyesight at the best of times though I had some ppl with better eyesight around me!

Cheers

Jel

would be a pleasure to meet you ec2urchin. same goes for the rest of you. There are whispers of a Redbridge FC quiz night on the horizon so maybe you could enter a team and we will enter one at your place when you have one.

All very friendly. Is this the beginnings of the Hx fans getting their feet under the table at Redbridge just in case it all goes t*ts up at Hornchurch

How about you concentrate on your replay with Exeter Cardiff BTFC.

Jim Stannard is new manager at Redbridge we had no game so some supporters went to see a game of football. Something that you don't see often at New lodge I might add.

Anyway best of luck for that said replay
