It was a great night in a footballing sense. Reason being that to me both teams needed to give players a runout. Very nice to meet my old friends at ETU again and a good game which was very competitive.

Our lads, under the Management of Dan and Ian won 2 1, a Billy Drake brace securing the victory.

There were some sterling performances, notably from Craig Dennis and Lee Sontag but all the lads deserve credit in a worthwhile victory against an ETU team that were experimenting with some first teamers.

A plus factor was Claudette and Nadine behind the bar, lads you missed out! and thanks ladies for looking after me.
