Last night the U18's put up a good fight against Leyton but eventually lost on penalties.

 

Both teams played entertaining football for the most part and the game was a battle royal with Leyton taking the lead twice and Billericay once, with Leyton equalising in the closing stages and taking the game through to extra time.

 

Both teams found the going heavy in the extra time and tired legs carried both teams gamely on to the penalty shoot out, which Leyton eventually won.

 

Sad though it is to go out of any competition, I think a round of applause for both teams is in order for a entertaining evening.
