Watch out Hampton.....

Wonder whether the FA will have a spy there checking on what goes on. Seem to remember Edwards offering our supporters to a boxing match in his Ford Utd days. Crazy that a manager at a high level would walk right down the touchline to berate with fans just because he fell for the winding up standing behind a goal DURING the game! Now after a game has finished that is a different matter <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Did he also give some hand signs to chelmo fans earlier in the season too.

Borgy too is a firey character and does have his moments to be fair, but at least when he got stick in our game when we equalised at the death he still took time out to come over and have a chat and a laugh about it.

funny how none of you were there yet you are still taliking about it. No police charges from Robbie Martin, what does that tell you???

I begin to wish someone had videod it just so everyone could see that it was all "handbags stuff"

I appreciate that I am guilty of continuing the discussion simply by responding to you, Sean, but I will make a small contribution.

I have had my nose broken on several occasions on the [rugby] pitch, twice in incidents which could be described as deliberate, rather than accidental. No, I didn't rush to my lawyers on Monday morning, I just 'got on with life' and maybe Robbie Martin feels the same way. The apparent absence of police or legal action four days after the event tells us absolutely nothing concernng the guilt or blame or innocence, or degrees of each, relative to anyone who was involved.

Some of the fans of both clubs have a view of these matters [fault/blame/innocence etc.] expressed on these forums, sometimes eloquently, sometimes hysterically, but the most important view initially will be that of the football authorities in Soho Square and Essex.

Beyond that there are deeper issues relating to Non League football generally, and all involved on Monday evening have a great responsibility, which, I suspect, was overlooked when the red mist descended.

I dont know how he broke his nose Ryan

Though I would think thats if it was an unprovoked attack (which im not suggesting happened by the way) that he wouldnt have sent the police packing without pressing any charges.

End of...

Maybe everyone is just scared of old Ming! I did hear talk of a fractured cheekbone to the same player who suffered a broken nose?
