Happy Birthday, Stuart. How are Knebworth FC doing these days?
I trotted along to Harpenden yesterday and quite honestly, with one or two exceptions it was dire. If that's what we are facing next season it will be hard work indeed. Quite a reasonable crowd of 38 though which included a few familiar City faces.
Lastly, congrats to Gary Wraight on being selected for the rep side. At least he might be getting a game in the next few weeks.

Thankyou for your kind words, I was/now am 19.
Knebworth have been playing well lately, but are missing a finisher. Consequently they have lost the last two games 2-1, very disappointing because they play good football. On the other hand they are a young side [ave age 22] and have learnt alot this season, but there is always room for improvement. As the Jap's put it: Kaizen - continuous improvement. Anyone needing a footie fix is welcome next saturday for the Premier Division Cup 1/4 final fixture with Hertford Heath. It is at home with a 1.30pm kick off. All are welcome back at the Station PH for drinks and complementary food. Hope to see some of you along.

Perhaps Gary Roberts ould make an appearance, I know there is a strong connection between him and the KFC heirarchy.
Just for you AFF; they still play with 3 at the back. I know, I know, but what can you do?
Many thanks once more, see you all soon.

....or of course, people could pop down to the "Brimsdown bunker" to pay a visit, as I see they are at home this Saturday, KO 12 noon.

Yep, sounds like there's no love lost between those two clubs (correction: between Enfield's fans and the Leyton Chairman) so it could be interesting. Will there also be round 2 between Brimsdown Blobby and the Leyton Lip I wonder? wink.gif" border="0
[ 21 January 2002: This message was edited by: Rob the Saint ]
