I was at college with the other presenter of this terrible show, Mr Durden-Smith, and have frequently found myself asking the question, 'Mark, what ARE you doing?'

 

Then the camera pans round to Kirsty Gallagher fumbling her way through another painful sports bulletin and I find the answer, as every male viewer prays the studio temperature is sufficiently cold ...

I think Mark is quite funny actually. He's quite self-depricating, which makes for a refreshing change.

 

I find Kirsty Gallagher quite plain to be honest. Nice enough to look at, but nothing remarkable. And she's oh-so dull.

I agree on both counts - MD-S was never one to take himself too seriously and he does appear geniunely excited by the concept of Celebrity Big Brother, which is an achievement in itself.

 

KG is a terrible presenter, and quite clearly dafter than one of Gazza's daftest brushes, but has the looks to offset, or at least counter-balance that stupidity.
