So now we are relegated...

.. I wonder how many of our players are going to commit to at least one season to show that they are too good for Div one and get us out of the mess they got us into?

I know it is unlikely that many will stay but i would love to see that we have some players who will shoulder the responsibility and do something about it. In real terms would they not prefer to win the league, get some silverware and enjoy some victories. The club needs some determination from these players that was seriously lacking last year, a <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/affig.gif" alt="" />nd on those performances I can't see a top ten side snapping up too many of our players.

I would love some honest responses from the players as to what they feel about relegation and if they believe they have any responsibility to the club.

I would imagine i already know the answer from most of our 'semi pros' but maybe they will surprise us.

I have my favourites and those that i feel should stay and should go (we all do) however I would very much like all of the players to want to stay and prove that given a chance they can play and win. Looking at the squad,a nd taking the best 12 or 13 players we could have pushed for a play off position at least. there was very little quality in that division in my opinion and we got relegated out of it. When we played well, we played well bu i feel the players gave up half way through the season and only turned up to a few choice games.

May be if they wanted to prove something they could do it in Div one and then be prepared for Premier the season after and really do some damage.

But, alas, they won't. It will be down to whoever is in charge to get a little bit lucky with new signings and if he can gel a team out of those players.

WE shall see........

I find the whole situation laughable!! the new manager which is a must i feel will take over an empty club player wise, how can any players be expected to commit themselves when there is a cloud over who is in charge.? something should be done now before the final game so players have a chance to meet him and the manager to see what he wants to keep. this uncertainty has gone on far to long. come on Kevin and Peter give us some hope before season end.!!!!!!!!!!!!

The boy Coyne is a talent and would be good to keep. Adam Wallace has had an honest season and done his best.

Agreed. Coyne,Wallace,J.Case,Dunlop,Drake,Warner? two or three of the ressies,Jarvis in some capacity but not playing.

Hi guys, just have a flick through Boards, and this is one I do tend to have a look at becasue of Adam Wallace

Do you think he really will stay with you.....after all he primarily left us for work and travel commitments but also because he wanted to play a higher standard of football (ie, initially he went to Basingstoke on his way to your place).

Thats not a dig at you, its a real question - do you think he'll stay?
