UU has insisted that I post this on here cos I know all you lovely Urchins will be happy to help us.

 

Bagshot CC are growing and we are outgrowing our ground. Behind it is a piece of land that belongs to the Crown Estate which would be ideal to make into our 1st Xi ground. They will not let us have it as they get too much money leaving it fallow from the EU. We are trying to put pressure on them to change their mind. Please sign our petition to help us. Thanks.

The point is that it is the Crown Estate, not sure they really need the money. We are happy to pay to lease the ground that is not the issue. Not sure whether we could afford to match the EU Subsidy though. The petition is just one of a number of routes we are taking. It is a serious attempt. Thanks for your interest and input.
