Three pregnant irish women knitting jumpers for the childs to be."hope mines a girl" says the first.

 

"why's that" the second said

 

"i've only pink wool" she replies.

 

"well, i hope mines a boy, as i've only blue wool" states the second woman.

 

pipes up the third lady " in that case i hope mine is a thalidomide!"

 

"why's that ?" shout the other two in chorus.
