I know you get hacked off when other supporters invade your board, but I trust you'll forgive me.

Of the teams you have played so far who has impressed you the most, and who do you think are your biggest threats for promotion/title. This is based on football abilities only.

firstly, we don't get hacked off when other fans come on here, they are welcome and you are welcome anytime, what does p*** us off is when idiots come on here with all the jealousy stuff about money and Bryco thats all, we've worked bloody hard to ressurrect our little old club....as you will see from the posts available on the forum, we can take it and we can dish it out, so don't worry about joining in..no problem...now then...as to your question...its only my personal opinion but I don't think there is much to choose between any of the teams that we've played thus far...earlier on in the season we beat Wealdstone 3-0 at home and I thought that they were pretty poor, but if you look at their results since, they have done well and are second on merit,(they also nicked the return against as well) we had a good game with Northwood and the only difference between us was our goal from Nicky Lowrie which was unstoppable. Arlsey looked good, so did Thame and Yeading (who are climbing up the table) Barton came for a draw after we'd beaten them away and they looked good value for it as well so all in all I think that maybe a dozen teams could get the top two places, hopefully us being one of them...saturdays game against Slough looks big on paper but no one will go up or down as a consequence of that game so.... its all good fun and we're enjoying every minute...good to hear from you....

good question, i think that the top five in any order will be northwood, urchins, wealdstone, slough and hemel. choose any two from those five and thats my prediction, if i had to go for a top two i'd have to say urchins and slough....great fun..we'll see, incidentally, slough have got their hands well full in the next few days, us saturday and the camels on tuesday so that could actually make or break em if they end up with nought....might change me mind if that happens cos they won't recover, cheers,

you're a boroman aint you so I expect you really want to know about Uxbridge, why not just say so, you wanna beat 'em,, good, hope you do. Mick Marsden could help you cos he'll have a report on them from his scout but I suppose you'll go and check 'em out yourselves,,,,, if it helps you, and I am not a manager or an ex player, I did not think that they were any good, (sorry Uxbridge), urchins beat them 1-0 but it should have been 10-0, probably the weakest team they've played this year so far, having said that, there aint no bad teams in the 1st division so, dont underestimate them. Good luck, I'll be there so see if you can spot me, here's a clue, an old 'Mr sheen' advert

You guessed correct. My interest was result based as oppesed to directly asking about Uxbridge. As players come and go the teams that I rated lasted season when we were in 1 have not done as well as though who were not much better than us. Haven't been over to the Bridge yet but the teams in the top half all seem to beat each other so no one is running away with it. The turning point could be when injuries and suspensions hit in Jan/Feb, fixture backlog due to bad pitches, and clubs cutting budgets after Xmas No reason you should fall foul of any of those so good luck, but most all enjoy it, and ignore the rest of us (just a touch of green eyes!!)
