We have a manager that 8 months ago was getting booed off the pitch at the riverside,who picks out of form players and couldn't get his boro team motivated for the uefa cup final,the F.A have f*cked up again

look at northern ireland,they are not the most talented bunch but have had some terrific results(and are winning again tonight at half time) because they fight for each other and choose the best players on form that are available,same can be said for the jocks

i don't know too many people who were overjoyed with the mclaren appointment,for me he just doesn't have any character and therefore i don't expect his team to have any either and it appears that they don't!!!!

I wasnt able to catch the game. Ended up watching some of the Poland-Portugal game instead. It sucked bad finding out the result, going downstairs with the score at Poland 2 Portugal 0 and telling them England lost...

Oh, fair's fair JJ, what about when we beat West Germany, the then World Champions, 3-1 in 1954. Mind you, we did have Bert Williams in goal, plus Billy Wright at centre half and Stan Matthews and Tom Finney on the wings.
