Training

One of the excuses given is not training on a full size pitch and having "fun" in training.

This might seem to be the problem.

Traing to some extent should never be that much fun

One training session should always be at your ground. These are professionals who are paid and if they want to play should train where they are told to, not where they live. I see the Margate players have to travel to London why cant it be a fifty split. Once in London and once in Margate.

Is this what people are talking about When they say Troott is a buddy and not a manager. These are difficult and unpleasant decisions but one that needs to be made by a strict manager who makes no excuses as to where you live.

Interesting point, Wenger. However, Trott is not the first manager to do this. CK did and others before him. The players are professionals but, of course, they are part-time and most have full-time jobs and families. It does not seem unreasonable to have training at a venue most convenient for the majority.

So all your players will be aching the following day, I agree, they should create a Friday session.
Shame Trott is not as daft as you are Alex, maybe Gate would be further down the table. .

Rob you fool these a footballers at the end of the day all professional clubs train everyday except sunday. Rob you really are a mug you will give it behind a keyboard but in person you come across as a mr nice guy.

No but in a situation where you are complaining this is a problem for the team and training it would seem sensible to train at least once on your ground.

Secondly it says a lot about attitude to local players. You travel because you are not in the same class as the rest of us from London. Good for team spirit dont you think.

The whole ethos of how this club is run needs to be looked at closely. Ramsgate seem to be surviving on local talent and training on their ground. Maybe a lesson to be learned.

An no training on Friday [****!!****]y idea.

Alex I doubt there is a professional club that would hold a regular training session the NIGHT before a 3 o’ clock kick off.
You are also incorrect when you say all proffesional clubs train everyday bar Sunday

I didn't say the night before if they have a light training session between 9 and 12 in the morning they will be ok for the game on a saturday.
