Not a bad result for us over the weekend. Another pitch not suited to playing football but another win and clean sheet, beating Egham 2-0.

 

2-0 up at half time when they had most of the play, possibly slightly undeserved. Oh well, never mind!!

 

paulb - you were right about their Asst manager, i thought he was gonna burst a blood vessel at one point!

Egham player/manager is Jack McKinley, seemed a nice bloke. Not sure of asst but was getting very stressed out!

We did try El Guffer but they where to good for us, went 2 down and pulled one back and had a good period of play and hit the cross bar, need to score from the chances created and it cost us.

 

Was Jack McKinley ex Virginia Water ???

I play for Egham..... Was a good game Saturday.. devo at the end though as we have had 4 defeats liek that on the bounce now.. I think u can admit that u didn't deserve to win.. to faults by us and the whippet up front put them both away..

 

Thought we battered you int eh second half.. one of our midfielders had two chances in your six yard box..

 

Jack mckinley is our manager.. injured at the mo he is.. we're missing him..

Yeah i've said we didn't really deserved to win, but you gotta take your chances. Gotta sort your pitch out though, a shocker.

the pitch is actually getting better as the season goes... one of the better pitches we have played on this year in comparison to some of the gaffs we have been to....

Could have been anyone teffs, there are some right fat kents in our club! Anyway, i was larging it up in the stand Saturday so not guilty.

 

Anyway, you saw Simmo at the Guildford v Cobham game, it's blatantly him!

11? can't remember.. too be honest mate we aint played a team this year who have a better midfield than us...like against u your nbr 9 was a gd player on the ball but didn't work off it and the other two in the middle I though got out battled...

We are much better if we can get the ball down and play on a decent pitch. Your no.3 in the middle was just a bruiser.

 

The last 2 games away, teams have tried to bully us and we've stood up to it winning 5-0 and 2-0, have been very pleased.

u sound similar to us.. both our wingers are quick and both forwards like to get it down too..

 

nbr 3? in the middle of midfield or defence? As I was the deepest midfielder.... So you think we tried to bully you? Man against man you were a bigger team.... so what did u think of us el gaffer

 

the best tema we have played is mertsham at there place and we beat them 1-0 since then we have been unlucky like on sat..big game Tuesday night against wembley.. then Ash after.. win those and we are bakc in there..

You don't seem to know much about your team doggieman!! No. 3, played infront of you in midfield alongside number 8.

 

Thought your midfield and forwards movement was very good. Gave the boys a rollocking at half time, even though we were 2-0 up.

 

Best team we have played is probably the 1st 20 mins against Wembley. They ripped us to pieces in parts. Mind you after those 20 mins we were far better.

 

2 draws against Wembley and Ash would be nice please!
