VCD wednesday

For those of you who are going to VCD and would like some info.

 

I did a recky there on Sat aft. The pitch has been turned 90 degrees and is now a very flat well maintained pitch.

 

There is very little parking. Park by the bowling green for quick release.

 

A small refreshment hut is just inside the ground left of turnstile(only one) Don't blink or your'll miss it.

 

The view is good with nice tarmac terracing and a small, very small stand. It holds 60 i counted each one. No other seating.

 

The players walk to an old bowls hut to get changed.

 

The goal posts are those take away types. I saw half the reserve team carrying them away.

 

If you want a pint the bar is by the car park opposite the bowls green which i have played on many times.
