Pitch condition

Recommended Posts

After the game against Kings Lynn it was looking very dodgy due to the amounts of rain we have had.

The ground staff did make use of the dry weather on Wednesday but they were still limited as to what they could do as it was still very wet and then there was a load more rain yesterday.

Providing that the right equipment can be used on the pitch then there is a chance that the game will happen but I would say that it is looking unlikely.

Well, that is up t Roy as it is a Slough game.

I would say that if there is any chance of rain today and / or overnight then a pitch inspection should be arranged. If it is forecast to stay dry bewteen anow and kick off then I would allow the ground staff to do as much as possible and let the match referee call the game.

No rain Friday no rain today, what happened to your assumptions?

Reading Rebel, read my post again. I said that if there was no rain then the ground staff should be allowed to do as much as possible and let the referee call the game.

That is what happened, so I would say I was correct then, wouldn't you?
