This Years Sponsored Walk

Slough Town supporters will again be participating in a sponsored walk following on from the success from last season's effort to Walton & Hersham's Stompond Lane ground.

 

We are currently looking at people interested in participating in this season's walk between Slough Town FC and Berkhamsted Town FC to put their name forward either via email to gary@sloughtownfc.net or to enter their name in person at the club shop on matchdays. The estimated distance between the two is believed to be in the region of 15 miles.

 

The walk will take place prior to the game on the 3rd May 2003. All monies raised will be split equally between Slough League Of Friends and Slough Town Supporters Assosciation. Coach travel will be provided for the return leg of the journey free of charge for those who participate.

 

Last season's walk managed to raise £1800, £1,000 of which was donated to Mary Bloom of Slough League of Friends in a pre-match ceremony earlier this season. We are hoping to raise a larger amount this season and have more people participate.
