It's a long story but if you were to look back at the quality of the postings in the days when unregistered posts were allowed you would come to the conclusion that the message board was totally crap. So crap that most of our own supporters stopped using the board altogether and it was hi-jacked by all sorts of idiots and it became an embarrassment to the club in general.

 

We decided to make it registered users only and, with a few bits of editing (not censorship) we eventually cleaned it up. So much so that, in fact, I would argue that the quality of debate on this board nowadays is the best it's ever been. Better than many other discussion board on the non-league scene.
