According to confguide we've signed James Pinnock from Kingstonian...He was a striker of great potential a few yrs ago. Dont think he set the world alight at Kingstonian thou.

great potential maybe, but only 6 goals out of 61 appearences for Kingstonian (plus 12 as sub). Lets hope he does better for us should this be true

this is his profile on the kingstonian web page:

Creative player signed from Gillingham in June 2001. Had on-loan spells with Dover Athletic in 2000 (where he played for Bill Williams), scoring on his debut and also with Chesham United in 2001. Joined the Gills as a trainee and made a handful of first team appearances and was a regular scorer in their reserves

Pinnock looks like he was popular at Kingstonian browsing their two message boards.

I think they might have played him in midfield for a lot of the time, hence his low scoring rate. Good replacement for Bentley if he plays as an attacking midfielder.

James Pinnock has been a very good player for us at Kingstonian over his two seasons at the club, after missing a chunk at the beginning of his spell with injury. He is a midfielder as far as we are concerned - a creative attacking one at that, so don't look at his scoring ratio (even if it could be a little higher).

It is a shame that we are losing him but it is hard to keep the vultures away from your best players when you are unable to defend yourselves - reference to the fact that we won't have been able to get a transfer fee to to our inability to give contracts out at the moment.

We do know how you feel mate. lol.

Nice to have a little bit of creativity in the squad after losing Jacko, lets just see if we can find someone to partner the beast to put them away <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
