Ah! Maybe you're not Mr Happy at all you're Mrs Happy (which is why you're in the asylum) and you went to an all girl's school.....which is why Invis & co haven't discovered your old school yet!

Well it was just a thought!!

Bishop Stopford's
Bush Hill Park

We could rename the thread Alphabetical Schools in Enfield, and move it to the jukebox.

Well done Colin,. I am a proud former Stopfordian and can say what a fantastic school it was when I was a pupil. The head teacher, Dr. Roberts, was a strict disciplinarian but also a great guy.

I here the school has deteriorated badly in recent years.

PS, Dear Lass, I am Mr Happy but yes, I do wish I had gone to an all girls school!

If this were the jukebox and not the pub, I would now be entitled to ask a question.

Oops

Maybe I should keep my fingers crossed that Hx and Enfield don't cross paths!

So even if this were the jukebox, I wouldn't be entitled to ask a question, but The Invisible Man would.

For goodness' sake Colin, ask your question!

By the way, we were talking about seondary schools. Bush Hill Park is a Primary School.

Well spotted LMU, I was about to protest. We discussed elsewhere how unfortunate it was that we didn't beat Carshalton and thus play Hx in the next round. As I said, we'll meet in the Conference in a few years time... by then you should have some draught beer!

Don't care about non of that draught beer malarky, just so long as I can have my cider!

Few things escape my notice. Ther reason I remember was because I thought it odd to go to school in Bishops Stortford when he lived in Enfield. Then I read it again.

It's fairly odd to go to Bishop Stopford's school, IMHO!
