Listened to it on BBC Essex. By the sounds of it not a great performance. We seemed to give the ball away alot and only looked more threatening once Ollie came on.

Nice to see Junior getting a goal and this is definitely a decent point against a useful Scarborough outfit.

Another hard earned point away from home but we could have taken all 3. We started well and had a lot of possesion for the first 15mins but didn`t really test their keeper enough when we had the chance. Scarborough`s goal was well worked and taken but came from us losing the ball in the middle of their half, another example of how we will be punished for mistakes at this level.

Second half followed on from the end of the first with Scarborough looking like they would get a second goal until we made a couple of subs which changed the game. Midgley and Berquez came on for Duffy and Joseph and we seemed to click into gear, Ollie was particulary impressive and caused a lot of problems for Scarborough`s defence.
Our goal may not have come from a classy build-up but Junior`s finish was,the ball fell to him on the edge of the box and he curled it with pace into the top left corner. Scarborough as you would expect then attacked us again but the defence coped with the pressure and towards the end of the game we had a great shout for a penalty turned down but maybe that would have been too much to ask for.

A patchy performance but still took away a point, i thought either McGhee or Chenery was motm but if Ollie had been on the pitch for longer who knows. We had about 80 fans up there which i know is not alot for some clubs but i think that`s a great turnout for us, can`t wait for Farnborough it`s only 90mins on the coach.
