More self-portraits.

A man who was willing to take a political risk with the congestion charge rather than just playing safe and doing nothing about London's transport problems, and for that he must be commended.

Might be yeah, after all the practice I’ve had I’m pretty f*ckin good at it too!

Like I say I despise Livingstone and his political beliefs – and I’d still like to see him meet and unfortunate demise - bit like you.

Public transport JC is absolutely [****!!****] brilliant if you never want to get where your going, like spending time with chavs or having the thrill of a possible mugging. You think this clown Livingstone is o.k.-well I and most people think he's a self publicising, humourless twat with possibly the worst ideas imaginable. I've already paid my extortionate road tax-I'm f*cked if want to pay a congestion [****!!****] charge to drive on a road I've already paid to be on.
Did'nt The Sun once refer to him as "the most odious man in Britain" for siding with the I.R.A.
Once saw him on a chat show with Vinnie Jones who came across more intelligent than the pinko leftie twat. And Trigger Happy T.V. once got him and he also showed what a nob he is by going totally overboard with the hump.
I'm actually not that keen on the guy myself if you have'nt guessed.

Yep, because the Sun is always the place for well-thought out, considered views, isn't it?

As for the comment above, nice to see you're not letting self-interest get in the way of the environmental benefits, amongst others, that investment in public transport brings. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

A common myth that has been told so many times everyone seems to believe it is true. How can anyone have any complaints with a transport service that arrives every 5 minutes all day? Many more rural areas of Britain would relish a bus service even six times more infrequent than that.

Mr. Livingstone's next step is to offer free London bus travel for all under-16s, and those under 18 who are still in full-time education - a worthy scheme to encourage future generations to avoid congesting London's roads still further.

Those points are valid - of course the system needs modernization and improvement, and maybe a move away from wasteful, inefficient PPP schemes would help provide that. But to call the service 'crap' is pretty inaccurate.

How often does that happen, though? As I've admitted, the system isn't perfect.

If that’s true - and it wouldn’t surprise me - then the scumbag should be found guilty of treason.
