I was at Brands Hatch on Sunday. A1 is such a refreshing change from the procession that has become F1.

A1 shouldn't be regarded as a pretender for the F1 crown but as a formula all of its own. Plenty of spectacle and the support races were good too. The organisers did a brilliant job. What's more just £40 for a pre-booked raceday ticket and seat in the grandstand. That's approximately a quarter of what it would have cost to see F1 at Silverstone.

Only gripe was getting out of the car park at the end of the meeting, and thanks to the person who managed to leave some of their paint job on my front bumper !

Saw the race from Sydney this morning on Sky. Comes highly recommended! Plenty of action - loads of overtaking and some good drivers. One hell of a smash today. Car ripped in half but Japanese driver(I think) was ok.
Team France won follow by Team GB.

I live in Sydney and I don't think anyone locally even took any notice of this...! But I think they had the A1 cars racing up in Queensland for the Gold Coast Indy car race?
