I have not my mind up on Jay at this level, but I would hope he was one of those we could keep next season.

Did you see how many of his passes went over the line, and his messing about with ball caused him to lose the ball? As you say it's all about opinions, he showboats and some of us fall for it, I don't and the opinions of the supporters around me endorsed that today.

Yes first half. There are about seven players not up to the conf. standard and still Jeff plays them all.We played a poor team today and I for one were pleased to see us gain a win. Next season we will not be in the conference and the pressure is off, I just hope we get a manager who sees the league standard for what it is and play the team most suitable at the time.

Charles!!

Who are the seven, apart from Clarke, I cannot see anyone "struggling", otherwise we would be talking relegation, come on name seven???

Thought that Mario had a good game today and was good outlet . Cracking shot in the second half and perhaps soon after he could of passed to Jason but had the taste and tried his luck again, but didn‘t come off. Sometimes we have been guilty of being like a West Ham team from the past and doing the pretty stuff around the area, but not testing the keeper. Good to see some shots on goal and mixing it up a bit.

Thought we played some great stuff yesterday. We tired in the last 20 minutes but even then we still played some good football. If Lee had scored that curled effort in injury time after a great move it would have been one of the goals of the season.

I thought Conroy was excellent and as for Mario I'm not his greatest fan but thought he did well yesterday. That shot nearly knocked out their keeper in the second half!!!

Clarkey's finish was superb and Man of the match for me was Keeling. The Kiddie defence struggled to deal with him all afternoon.

I have to admit that I missed the team announcement yesterday and Canvey were in the Kiddy half so much for the first 45 minutes I didn't even realise Mario was playing until the second half!

The team's performance was superb and I have full praise for every Canvey player out there yesterday...until we made the first substitution.

That thunderous shot from Mario in the second half was stunning, and I can't fault him for trying again a few moments later. When you that goal-bound vision and you can feel your blood boiling slightly you want to try and do it again and again, especially if like Mario you were so close the first time.

I can understand swapping Boylan for Keeling what with Keelo's recent injury/fitness problems but from that point on we lost our width and a major attacking option - Clarke would just not run to the corner flag like Keeling will. Lee was unlucky and had several half-chances and that great curling effort right at the end.

Apart from losing our shape after the first sub, everyone played well up to that point and the majority continued right up to the final whistle. Do feel sorry for Tait though, we paid good money for him and he only seems to get about 15 minutes a game.

BBC Essex interviews with Jeff King and Ben Chenery. Interesting to hear that Jeff says his company will be putting in no money from next season.

Thought Clarke was a totally different player when he was up front, by far the best I have seen him play.

However, looked lost on the left again when Kilo went off and we struggled a bit, losing our shape.
