[color:"blue"]this thread is for people to say what they think/hope will happen to cifc in the future, long term or short term. after all lets not look back --- the futures bright, the futures yellow!

i hope we get a few decent cup runs and get our old name as 'giant-killers' back and i hope we have a good season next year![/color]

I hope the team gels quickly and we get into the play-off places and hopefully gain promotion.

My other hope is that people will turn out to see The new Gulls team and dont shy away. The more people that turn up, the better the atmosphere and the more we'll spur on the team. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bounce.gif" alt="" />

I hope the Reserves and new players arriving can step up to the plate and take this league head on with everything they've got. It doesn't matter to me where we finish in the league, just as long as everyone gives 100%.

Off the pitch I would like the Club to secure a fanbase that we know will turn up week in, week out. Whether it's 100 or 500 fans they'll always be there and the new Board can budget the financies on these figures.

Also I would like to see a hell of a lot more publicity around the island. Fixture lists in every shop, adverts in all the freebie papers etc and the Supporters Club to organise more publicity/fundraising events to make the public aware.

Great post Matt. I also think that advertising is the key to this year. In previous years there was next to nothing on the advertising front.

Advertising is the best way of getting people to games without a doubt. Lets hope whoever in charge of this has some great ideas.
