I thought Brook House were better than Brazil 1970 Gavin, that Tostao, Carlos Alberto, Gersson, Jairzinho, Rivelinho and that useless Felix in goal not to mention a player called Pele were totally [****!!****].

Yes I know, I have been called a football connoisseur which I took as a compliment, I'm afraid I don't know any Brook House players though although 1 saw both games when you did the double over Haringey Borough two seasons ago on the way to gaining promotion from the SSML, were you with them then. I quite liked Brook House's ground although difficult to find from the nearest tube, took me ages, nice bar and enjoyed my lager shandy (half) after the 3-0 defeat.

Really, I must have seen you play then, I have to admit you don't spring to mind in a Jairzinho sense but will check the programme from the two games I mentionned in 2003/2004. What was it like playing on the hallowed Coles Park turf then, hopefully you didn't cut yourself on the small pieces of glass usually left there on purpose by the local yobos the night before a match.

Can't remember anyone standing out like a sore thumb for Brook House in the two games against Haringey that season, think one of your guys hit a 30 yarder into the top corner at your place but we had an off day that afternoon and didn't really trouble you. Yes Oxhey Jets is on the Harrow and Wealdstone (sorry Gavin) to Watford line and you have to get off at South Oxhey, from there it's a short cab ride or a fifteen minute walk. Make sure you wear body armour or a bullit proof vest when you go there, preferably both.

'twas a sideways move, not promotion. It took Brook two more years to go up. They only got promoted at the end of last season.
