I love all the singin that goes on behind our goals by the lads--but I also reckon we should have some "REAL" music before the game to get us really GOING!! I'd like to see ol Wayno playin some DR. FEELGOOD songs just before the match starts (especially for the Aldershot game) nice bit of "DOWN BY THE JETTY"--or maybe- "MILK & ALCOHOL" should do the trick. I have this morning enroled in to the Prince Philip School of Gaffs & Goofs and have started my mission to hijack all of next Tuesday's programmes to remove Wardy's column.

I've just finished making 2 new CD's for Tuesday though that should get the place Bouncing !!

Nice one Wayne---really give it to em on Tuesday night----like to see it become a bit of a "cult thing" actually-- after all, Feelgood are one of Canvey's best ever bands--apart from the "Gypsy Rock Squad" of course.

Ahh Motorhead, I remember 'The Game' by them a few years back it was used by a wrestler in the WWE and that really got the hears on the back of your neck standing!!

 

I can't see how Hey Jude would get everyone going, although St. Albans like to chant the end melody.

 

I can't think of any songs that haven't already been mentioned on here.

 

Although 'Hellraiser' by Ozzy Osbourne ain't that bad, but not everyone's cup of tea, I accept.

Lots of good songs being put forward for pre match atmosphere at the lane---but my real point was that we need something local to Canvey--we need that music to be proud of --I mean a CANVEY BAND!!! They were, and still are, part of this Island of ours, and I'm talking about DR. FEELGOOD

Go along with anything by Feelgood - was anyone else at their New Years Eve gig at the Oysterfleet? - almost 4 hours solid of the best Canvey (or anywhere else) can offer.

On the subject - those other Kings of Southend Pubrock - what about the Kursaal Flyers?
