well you know what I mean... laugh

two teams reasonably well matched and little to choose 'tween them in the first half which I thought we were getting on top of in the last 20 minutes...

so....there was much urchin optimism for the second half over the bovril and pies on a freezing cold afternoon at the bridge only for carshalton to blast two goals in 4 minutes straight after kick off to take a firm grip on the game...cue much time wasting and urchin frustration with a robins player sent off for time wasting (second yellow..bit harsh) until colin (sitting with me in the press box with dave anderson winding him up yay) decides to go 3 up front and the rest is now urchin folklore I can tell you....

three goals in the last four minutes from krissy lee (2) and simon parker brought the final whistle and saw the urchin faithful leaping around the stadium in a crescendo of noise not heard since...well...err...

last week... grin

after last weeks virtuoso performance not pretty but carshalton had a game plan for a draw and could have nicked it..arguably a better kick start to the run in than last week and onwards to horsham at the bridge on tuesday who won again today...

well done everyone....great day at the bridge... applause

4-5-1 is a safety first/draw requirement as they were not pushing their wide men up at all...they came for a draw alright and when they found themselves 2 up inside 5 minutes of the restart they couldn't believe it....can you remember any other chance they had on goal apart from scoring the two goals...?

I can't.....

The result at Chelmsford and the drama v Carshalton make the last two matches sound more like a Disney movie(a la Mighty Ducks)than real life!

Life imitating art!

All you need now is an injury to the goalie in the next game and Urchin Mentalist is called on to take his place and wins the day with a spectacular save on the bell.

Exciting stuff.

The lads & I (evening Global!) had a discussion during the first half about how we never quite know what we're going to get at our matches this year.

In the last two years we pretty much steamed through teams here but now all bets are off as today's game proved.

That said, you have to applaud the way we fought back and stole a result but can't we just get a couple of goals up by half-time one day so my old heart doesn't over load?

what can i say,to the bloke who gave me a packet of jelly viagra in the bridge house i am eternally grateful but it has done diddly squat for my sex drive, but can someone get this pervert off my fecking neck, she thinks it works.

Getting back to the game,we were fecking sh1te and i am more than happy to be receiver of trois points from our sarf london friends. How ironic is this, one of their players laughed at me at 2-0 down (in the arsenal game) so i turned round to him and said "wasn't you 2-0 up at one stage today???"

HE SAID YES AND BORDED THE COACH!

In all fairness we must play better than that to beat horsham tuesday, but it shows that we will never lay down and i predicted that at 2-0 down!
