The Centenary Year Sponsored Walk - Sat Mar 29

[SACFC Supporters Club]

This season's sponsored walk will be taking place tomorrow, Sat Mar 29, prior to the Havant & Waterlooville game and in line with our centenary year, will cover a route aligned to the history of St. Albans City F.C. This season the charities involved will be the UCLH (which is the intensive care unit at the National Hospital London, who took care of one of our long serving supporters Bill Bates, who passed away very recently), the St. Mary's Church Luncheon Club at Marshalswick and the St. Albans Association for the Disabled.

 

The walk will commence at 10.30 am from outside Gilberts, Chartered Accounts on the junction of London Road and Lattimore Road. Gilberts is on the site of the old Crystal Palace public house, which was the headquarters of our original football club. If if you would take part in the walk, you can either collect a sponsorship form on the day or e-mail Ian Rogers on ian0868@yahoo.co.uk. If you are unable to take part but would like to sponsor one of the those who are walking, again e-mail Ian or hand in your sponsorship monies to the Club Shop at the Havant & Waterlooville game or the upcoming Eastleigh game.
