I know we're both in the play offs so there's nothing riding on the game in that respect but really want to beat them today, but a nice phsycological boost if we then have to play them in the play offs.

 

A few fake Wombles I know through England are already making excuses about today, saying they will be playing reserves and don't mind losing today as it's the play offs that matter.

A lot of them are right up their own arses, overheard a few conversations yesterday from them and quite a few were saying that they weren't going on Tuesday but would be at the final next Saturday. Obviously they are strong favourite's but they shouldn't take the victory as a given.

i would say they are only favourites because of the home advantage but in all honesty some of our best performances have been away from the bridge,especially against chelmo & ricay

You're right there UM, home advantage will definitely be an advantage for them though, with probably around 2,500 for them and probably less than 200 of us lot, it will definitely play a part.

 

Also they've got a player who should be playing at a lot higher level in Jon Main, he could be the difference.

thats ok brightside,i don't think there is any difference in the two sides,staines have looked good all season,hopefully our boys will do the job tuesday and away to staines next saturday,or possibly at home to ramsgate
