Concord Rangers Fc V BILLERICAY TOWN FC

Recommended Posts

A good blog posted by the chairman, all we can do now is look forward to saturday, well watching the game part, not looking forward actually going to canvey haha.

Whats done is done and hopefully it will all be changed on saturday, should be a good game. Apparently tim cole will be fit for saturday so the defence should be strong again, with dorms in midfield.

Concord Rangers Fc 3 V BILLERICAY TOWN FC 1

Danny Heale 61m .............. Billy Bricknell 2m

Danny Heale 63m .............. Paul shave off 2nd yellow 27m

Danny Heale 93m .............. Joe Flack off straight Red 31m

Can't believe the same guy scored all three goals just as in Tuesday's game.

The Lads did well to hold them for so long with 9 men.

Well I hope those two morons are pleased with themselves - they cost us the game. We were comfortable at one-nil, Concord weren't really causing us any problems but then Shave and Flack go and get themselves sent off and throw away the game.

We've got to be careful this season doesn't implode on us - by all accounts Tuesday was pretty dreadful, and if we're starting to lose our discipline then we're in big trouble.

This needs to be sorted out pretty soon. Simons right, they both need to get a brain. Shavesy cant get booked, then 30 seconds later go into someone! And flacky needs to learn to stop going into people on purpose and pciking out his targets.they both cost us the game.

The lads done well to hold on but we all knew it would have been tough to at least draw the game after what happened in the first half.

Ok the ref was bad, but we cant blame the ref for the challenges that got 2 players sent off because they were right. We need to start getting very cautious now of what will happen and where we will be at the end of the season.

It won't be due to anything ryan. It will probably be blamed on injuries, but at the end of the day, like tuesday, we put teams out who are capable of winning the games.

Ok u get the players that dont think before doing things and that can always cost the team a game, like today.

Woahh upda calm down!

Today we played a much better performance, especially the first half, than we did on tuesday! In the second half, we didnt give up.. we still tried and tried, you cant fault players for that.

But when you get 2 players sent off in 1 game, its never good! and you cannot help that, we played well today, but it was un-rewarded because of 2 people.

Confidence seems to be at an all time low and has not been helped today by what seemed to be a lack of disipline by the 2 guys who got sent off. And from where I was watching the decisions were correct. Of course the Ref was not good, but we really cannot keep blaming the officials for our own frustrations. I dont think at this time it is constructive to start laying the blame so instead maybe its time to ask positive questions so that as a club we can move forward. Some questions that have crossed my mind in recent weeks are

1 Why did we let kerrers go? Ok maybe it was felt that we had better options but to keep him in case of injury or in case our other options did not work out for at least 3 months seems a better way to me. 2 Why did we let Blewitt go? We knew for instance that Heffs was talking his coaching badge so would not really be wanting to play a full season this year? Would it be possible to get an older keeper in with some experience? I think that both Jack and Ronnie have done great jobs for us this year but they are both so young and I feel that by chopping and changing them we may not be helping them in the long term. They are great prospects but are we asking too much of them I wonder? As for today, why did we have Harrison on the bench and not use him? when we were 2-1 down the only way back in a cup match is to score and that seemed unlightly with poor Billy limping up front after we were told he only had a 50 - 50 chance of playing. And when you are down to 9 men so early I think we might have been better to use all our subs. I don't think we used all three or did we? I have just had a count up and realised that we did use all three :-) but I still dont really know why we did not use harrison or why Billy played the full 90+ mins when he was limping? I know this is a bit of a rant, and with everyone else I guess I am just frustrated and I hope some of you guys can tell me the answers to some of my questions and I can sleep better. On paper I still think we have a good team and I know we have a great club.

Nice to read that the majority of your fans do understand the rules of the game and are not like the mindless morons who screamed foul abuse at the Concord players and the officials as they left the pitch at half time........talk about embarrasing.

Your two players let themselves, your club and you lot down big time. Shame as it spoilt what would have been a good test for us.

Thought you did okay today considering and i'm sure things will soon turnaround.

Best of luck for the rest of the season...

the ref was shocking and there managers got are players sent off with there continuous shouting to deal with are players.

I thought at 1-0 we looked comfortable for 10mins after but concord got back into it a bit. I thought there 10 won most things in the air and there 9 was turning are centre backs far to easy.

I didnt think shaves first yellow was a foul but when your booked why go into a player like that to recieve a second?

Joe never touched the player he held his face like hed taken a good hiding and like i said the manager screaming to get him sent off.

We done well with 8 outfield players we even looked like pulling 1 back at 2-1.

Lets get behind the team on saturday at least we can concentrate on the league now. If managers read this please 3-5-2 it will work. all 3 points.
