Knaphill Reserves 4 - 1 Badshot Lea Reserves

The Reserves bounced back from their disappointing defeat at home to Worcester Park on Saturday with a comfortable 4-1 win over Badshot Lea Reserves at Redding Way on Thursday evening.

Two goals from Liam Fisher and one each from Mark Mercer and 16 year old, man of the match, Matt Fox were enough to give the Reserves their first home win of the season

Hanworth Villa Reserves 0-3 Bedfont Sports Reserves.

Sports went 2-0 up at half time with 2 goals from our in form striker Glen Faircloth, who now has 7 goals in 4 games with the Reserves this season.

Second half started and on about 60mins Kenrick Harriet got the ball inside the Bedfont half and sprinted down the left wing with the ball, into the box and chipped the keeper from the most acute angle with his left foot into the far corner of the net.

Villa pressed for the final 30 mins of the game with ex Sports legend Neville Barrett coming on up front, but could not find the back of the net with his 4 attempts and Bedfont held out for the clean sheet. Villa were, however, very unlucky as Barrett should have had been awarded a penalty when he was brought down just inside the box on 70mins, but to everyones amazement the Ref deemed it a fair challenge.

3 wins and 1 draw for Bedfont Sports in their first season in the Combined Counties Reserve League.
