going to Borehamwood tonight ? Once again I feel it within me to voice my surprise at the apparent apathy shown towards these friendly games.

 

I just happened to venture upon the Canvey site this morning and there's a lot of discussion going on surrounding players, their performances, who's coming and who's going etc.

 

Have we no views, interest ?

 

I must admit I find it amazing.

 

Anyway, in an effort to start some discussion, starting line up for the first game?

i cannot go to Boreham Wood but saw Arlesey and Rushden. It will be interesting to see what pattern emerges before the season starts...what worries me is Naylor, too slow at Ryman Premier level, Graham,willing but not really very effective,Smith, hope he gets a lot fitter,Gledhill, clumsy,Wraight, always looks classy but isn't and a lack of real pace everywhere.....McDonnell could be very good, needs to play off someone, Glynn, can't tell yet,

I can't really comment on individual players, not at first team level anyway, but I think that you'd be surprised at the pace that there is within the squad.
