This weekends fixtures

Recommended Posts

F.A.Cup weekend again for some of the SSML teams, any predictions on how they will do? Oxley v St Mags will provide one of those two with a much needed win.

In the league, Prem, a chance for Royston to close the gap on the top two, Division One, tough games for Sport Benfica, Stony and New Bradwell against King Langley, Berko and Sun Postal respectively, Ampthill v Amersham, can one of those get a much needed win.

Division 2 sees a much imporved Mursley against what is a tough, organised Pitstone, 61 FC Luton v Aston Clinton must be the pick of the games though, while Padbury visit an indifferent Kent Athletic.

Have you seen the you tube of kent beating padbury 10-1 i think a couple of seasons ago hopefully you will better that result or maybe even reverse it ! lol

How can teams who are so dominant in winning games 10-1 actually concede a goal, probably the only time the other mob crossed the halfway line lol.

Soon though, soon, when everything clicks, then who knows, the 8 goals we have scored in our 3 games don't tell the true story on how dominant we have been in those games......but it's only a question of time.

hello. i do not understand when i look at some games on here today. it said crawley play in the fa cup but there is a fa cup that all the teams on tv play in so what fa cup is this because there are no big teams playing in it like chelsea and spurs and aersenal and liverpool.

brache and tootenhoe play away today but if i can i should go and watch crawley because last time they won 10.0 and it was fun. i am happy to see them on here and now feel happy because i can watch a football game today.

ha you make me laugh so much with your posts, perhaps you would like to come and watch Berko play one day (they score goals) as i think you will like it and im sure it will be highly entertaining for everyone there. you can bring simon too although he wont be able to play the match but some kids usually kick a ball around outside the ground so he can join in there.

Another cracker for Berko today.....maximum points for them and Sun Postal

Berko were awful in the first half and i had visions of them losing their 100% record but guess they must have got a proper bollocking at the break as they were a different side, with harpenden slipping up against bedford res some daylight is appearing at the top. Good to see sun postal keeping it going, could make for a good game when the re-arranged fixture is played.

I think Cockfosters have had a good result. Anyone know the results for the ressie sides?

things arent looking good for Stony Stratford but take nothing away from Berko - another good result! Will take a lot to stop them this year.

Was very surprised that Berko came away with a clean sheet today, the stony number 11 gave the makeshift defence a hard time. look forward to getting captain simon carmichael back from his operation for next weeks game should he come through a reserve game midweek, they look like they are missing him.

Sport London was abandoned after 80 after a mass brawl!

must be a bad one if the ref called it off!

if it was bad enough to call off then surely it would be a matter for the local consabulary, most "brawls" ive witnessed end up with 2 or 3 players off at worst.

The Referee was correct to abd the game going on what I have heard.

And before Cliff ask me the question I was not at the hallowed turf that is Coles Park but minding my own business in East London taking in a FA Cup tie.

If the referee was correct to abandon the game, from what you've heard Peter, what I've heard he may have been the cause of it from the way he handled the game. But the officials are never to blame are they?

So you are saying that it was the conduct of the officials that caused the game to be abd and they are to blame?

No, you're saying that the official was correct to abandon the game from general hearsay.

I would suggest to you that if there was an incident, the players involved should get punished, by the referee, on the field with cards, unless the official has lost control and is not aware of what is going on.

If an official has lost control of a game, would you not say he was to blame?

You have heard one version of events, I have heard another.

I'm only going by comments that were passed onto me.

The seriousness of the incident would have given the Referee no option but to abd the game.

I don't know what led to the incident or who was to blame. I have no information if, in your words, the Referee lost control of the game.
